Weird... I find it hard to rate or review this episode because I don't clearly know what to think of it. Now I've taken the liberty to consider that to NOT be a good thing, so I ended up rating it a 5 out of 10.
It's not like I had no fun watching it, but it was too weird. I felt like there were WAY too many different ingredients. I felt like I was watching a weird mixture of 16 different episodes that made for a bit of an incoherent mess my mind couldn't really grab a hold off.
Sorry but I want to also take this opportunity to protest against what they seem to be trying to do to Hayley's character for a while now. Hayley was always this very concerned, sincere character that was just painfully a bit too mellow to really persistantly pursue her high ideals. Somewhat like a lazy, spineless Lisa Simpson. And she was just really fine like that!
Now I feel like they think she's not funny enough or something..? Because for a while now they are forcing her into this new Hayley: a low energy, dumb stoner that doesn't seem to care about anything at all. Which is quite the opposite of what she always was! I don't understand this choice at all. I hope they turn her back, Hayley doesn't HAVE to be so funny, the others are already plenty funny! Hayley was always really functional and now she's slowly turning into this totally uninteresting, lifeless puppet.
