I was not fond of Zombie movies. "Train to Busan" made me fall in love with them. "Baring few lacunae, "Dead Set" lived upto the expectation. It was not scary though, except for some gory visuals. I wanted more horror, which was in short supply. It was not a typically grotesque Zombie movie with flesh eating animals running helter-skelter to suck the blood out of your body. It keeps you overwrought with its description of best and worst side of survival instincts of humans when they are confronted by existential crisis. You are forced to choose between morals and survival, but the questions are two- is discarding the morals worth the survival, or should morals stand between one's survival at all? The answer remains elusive, one can't argue with death.
