Word Travels (2008–2010)

Ok, but..

It's a watchable show, but the presenters are very condescending and a bit arrogant sometimes, especially Julie, who always seems to think too much about herself. We can watch some interesting experiences but the tentative to be "so different" makes some episodes totally boring, with experiences that don't connect that much with a specific place (some things, you can basically do in any part of the world).

A positive point is that they don't care if they are shocking and sometimes they show things that are not politically correct to show in a tv show. However, their attitude against tourists and touristy points is annoying. I know that this is very common among travel writers and the so-called "travellers", but they should remember that without tourists and touristy sights, nobody would care about them or their magazines. There are good tourists and bad tourist. There are good travellers and bad travellers. Unfortunately, travellers don't seem to think this way and they always think they are superior human beings.
