Review of Lethal Passion

Lethal Passion (1992 Video)
Buck's Mafia tale has fab cast and skilful storytelling
2 September 2020
Buck Adams doesn't settle for formula porn here, devising a clever, involving Mafia story that combines the necessary sex scenes (concisely directed) with fine acting.

With Buck telling us his tale while driving his sportscar, movie unfolds in a series of flashbacks, detailing the principal characters, associated with the Lucci crime family, headed by wheelchair-confined father Gerard Damiano (in an excellent performance, perhaps his final acting role) and his sons John Leslie, Joey Silvera and T.T. Boy, plus "Cousin Paulie" played by Wayne Summers.

Wives and lovers include some of porn's top players, including Nina Hartley, Raven, Tracey Adams and Angel Kelly plus Euro beauty Silver Forest.

Plot twists in the final reel are clever, leading to a satisfying amoral ending. Obviously a modern audience will wonder why Buck went to all the trouble of working on convincing NonSex scenes, as well as violence generally avoided in porn, but traditional fans of Adult Cinema will appreciate watching a real movie.
