not for everyone

Warning: Spoilers
What i've noticed with this show, even after the emmy season, is that it's not made for everyone. neither are steve carrell's and mark duplass' performances. talking personally, i related the whole constantly-shouting thing to argentinian tv (my natal country) but i definetely didn't enjoy it as much as i enjoyed the last episodes in which we could only get annoyed if we couldn't stand aniston's brilliant performance as a woman out of her wits or carrell's cringeworthy the-office-like crisis scenes full of tears and laughters out of nowhere. but this episode was just too much. too much anger and fuss all over the place making the environment go hard to watch. even kind of boring due to its monochromatic tension. though, i do believe jennifer aniston and reese witherspoon outshine as their characters. it's the first time i see reese taking the risk of not playing an upper class blonde with her own privileged-person-issues. i also adore mark duplass and billy crudup in their respective roles. and about steve carrell, as i said before, is not for everyone. i can mention carrell, jim carrey, adam sandler and more actors that mean well and i'm sure they got something worth the fuss but personally, i don't sympathize. also, the writing was so accurate, specially during the metoo conversation between two accused men, that was witty and risky for the writers. to sum up, i don't think this was a bad episode, but it just didn't catch me. let's see what the next episodes do to me. 6/10
