An OK story, but I could have done without 1/2 the episode.
To be clear: I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT JACK SLOAN OR HER SOAP OPERA! Kinda strange that her daughter goes from being totally antagonistic as we first saw her to touchy-feely luvy/duvy all of a sudden. That rings totally false. Do I care about who the girl's father is? Not before this episode, and not after. This is a whole set of characters and plot lines that the show would be better off just dropping. Find something better to fill that space. Please: Retire Sloan.
