Mrs. Miniver (1942)

Wonderful Mrs Miniver
21 January 2021
Neither Greer Garson or Walter Pigeon wanted to do this picture. Garson thought she was too young to be a mother with a son going off to war. By the way she later married him in real life. Pigeon thought he was too debonair to play a father. Thank God they were convinced otherwise. One thing about the opening bus scene. It was an American bus with a upper deck screwed on. Also, I could swear the the man getting on ahead of Garson is Don Ameche. Check me out and see.
