Just as if the characters had jumped right out of the "Bande dessinée"!

I am a fan of "The adventures of Tintin" since I was little; the comics are still great, funny and thrilling, even after all this time. Steven Spielberg is not the first person who makes a movie about Tintins stories, but he is the first person who lets the characters become so realistic. Especially the beginnig is so heartwarming and sets the tone perfectly. There is a little too much action in the end, but that is okay for an adventure film of the 2010ers. Laid out as a trilogy, it is pretty sad that there probably won´t be a sequel- to see Professor Cuthbert Calculus or Rastapopoulos on screen would be amazing! But, anyway, thanks to Mr Spielberg and Mr Jackson for creating this movie that is doing the comics and Hergé justice.
