WILD BOYS is a very poor low budget crime/thriller from Spain. It follows three juvenile delinquents as they're released from prison and quickly slip back into their world of low rent crime and street violence. In this respect it has much in common with many similar Hong Kong movies, particularly the new wave stylistics of the 1980s, but there the similarities end. This is merely depressing, cheaply made and repetitive, its only notable plotline a shocking male rape and the consequences that follow on from it. Poor stuff indeed...
