Brighton Rock (1948)
2/10
Disappointing Oldie
9 March 2021
I would welcome any comments as to why this film is so highly rated. I finally got the opportunity to watch the DVD and was utterly disappointed. Story line, acting and sound quality. Perhaps it was the wake up call for Richard Attenborough that would be more successful as a director rather than as an actor. Also, not wishing to be over critical, getting a glimpse of the late 1940s Brighton was rather OK.
