V Shantaram had the correct sense of script choice that can be seen through his film which always had multiple factors combined in single narrative. His films were more than just films, it were like motivational seminars. Dr. Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani is yet another exclusive and unknown story choosen by him which provides engrossing human drama and motivation to all humans beings, especially the Doctors. The film is about Dr. Dwarkanath Kotnis who chose to go to China for the medical assistance of the troops fighting against the Japanese invasion in Yenan province. His story is unknown to many people but those who knows his story must be feeling very proud of him. I live in Maharashtra, India and i feel proud that Dr. Kotnis was from my state. His dedication to save the helpless humans crossed all the barriers of country borders, nationality and cultures. The only culture he knew was Humanity and that's the biggest message from his story i mean from the film. Apart from that, the film has entertaining features like love story, patriotism, passion and what not. His life itself was a perfect script already, all it needed was a proper execution. V. Shantaram gave it what it needed. He took all the commands in his own hands and sailed the cinematic ship over the country borders steadily. Performances, writing, screenplay, cinematography, production design everything stands right and the emotional touch in the end provides that cheery on the cake thing. Overall, Dr. Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani is a powerful classic film and an inspirational biopic of an unknown Legend. Thank you V. Shantaram for unfolding this immortal human drama in Indian Cinema.
