Still cant believe this was just an average grosser at the time of release. Way ahead of its time, this cult classic would have been a 1000 cr. Earner today. I was in awe when I 1st saw it in theatre bunking my studies. This is actually the best Indian movie ever made until it competed with rang de basanti. I dont think we can again see something like this. I still remember I saluted the poster of the movie coming out of the theatre in front of everyone. The impact it created still lasts in me. We have lost this Rajkumar Santoshi. Dont know how to find him again. It will always remain in the list of the best 5 movies ever made in bollywood. Stop overhyping sholay or mughal-e-azam.
