Tim and she head to the owner's house to give the dog back and find that she is dead with multiple stabs and they find a boy hidden in the closet. Harper learns that her friend Eve that she met when she was working undercover is in the hospital after being savagely beaten. West is chasing a criminal on the streets and when he captures the guy, he stumbles upon the TV star Sterling Freeman that invites Lopez and him to go to the studio to teach the practice of a police officer.
