. . . or worthwhile, no matter what film studio calls upon the services of these overused animals. SOCIAL LION is no exception to this rule of mediocrity. Who wants to see Leo in a blue suit? It's bad enough when Mr. Metro and his henchmen wear such tasteless attire. Watching the so-called King of the Beasts alternating between an ill-timed roarer and a quivering quaking jellyfish is NOT some sort of special treat, either. Throwing random drunken barflies into the mix merely implies the environment which doubtless gave rise to SOCIAL LION.
