Ok just saw it last few days took me 5 sittings to get through it and nearly gave up but i came here for CAN see how their music was used as score.
It is a sorry mix of Film Noir interlaced with sub-sub-sub Godard badly understood copy and paste from the 60s Nouvelle Vague across The Rhine: gangsters and hipsters fighting it out in a slightly echo-like reenactment of Performance
The camera seems to be affected with profound ADHD many years before this tag/condition existed; scenes last for 15 seconds at times then shift elsewhere; sea-sickness overcomes the viewer; as if it was a water-hose which had freed itself from the hands of a gardener; mostly why i required 5 sittings to complete viewing
Anyway CAN is VERY present here and put to good use; much incidental music probably from Irmin Schmidt peppering this filmic mess
At one point it looked as if the story might make sense towards the end but rejoice ... it totally did not or only very superficially
The actors are mostly poseurs tragically ungifted for that trade .... happy to have a gig but not trying too hard.
