War is a Constant

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the best anime ive watched this year. This anime posseses powerful themes and commentaries on racism and war that makes it feel all to, but is done in such a thought provoking way that it does touch the human heart. Despite the morbity of the show there is still levity. There are many instances that the characters feel like they will give up, but are given one more shot of hope, so they can continue the fight. The characters are the best thing about this, despite a large cast, each character feels like they could be their own anime protagonist, and everyone gets a shot in the spotlight. The dialogue is thoughtprovoking and is well written. The action helps to keep the long scenes from dragging out too much, but unforutanetly the CGI and the robots make the action scenes somewhat of a bore, despite a few exciting action sequences. Like i said this anime is more of a war drama than a full-blown action show, but there is something here for everyone, even a little romance (if your a fan of the movie You Got mail, you will like this series main couple). Live to fight another day boys, live to fight another day.
