There isn't much plot to "Miss Lonely Hearts" and the film is mostly an excuse to show a variety of third-rate acts. The plot supposedly is that a lonely hearts cub (a place for men and women to meet and, hopefully, hit it off) is having trouble because the men and women aren't talking to each other. So, they assume that the best way to get the men interested is to put on a female talent show....though the acts they features should have turned the men away in droves. You have a group of acrobats, a rather double-jointed dancer, a scat singer (who is VERY annoying) and a ballerina do their stuff and the males in the film all act as if these women are alluring and wonderful! In other words, they ACT! Overall, a not very good short film that leaves you wondering why they made it in the first place!
