This did not have as much of an adventure aspect to it as it seems like almost everything was wrapped up and we just had Lucky explaining to his family what happened. That was fine, and the slight twist around the parental revelation was well-done, but I feel like it was a bit too peaceful for this show. We went from a crazy cult and last minute escapes to a bunch of people sitting around the kitchen table and crying.
But what a ride this show has been and what a journey for the characters. This is proof of what TV can be and how it can be both funny and thought-provoking at the same time. Hope against hope that there is a third season somehow.
