The young-Jack-Nicholson looks. The fake screen pursuit scene. So much Sam Spade you'd think a dark voice over cuts in anytime.
I kept on seeing it so much as a retro movie that Devon Sawa taking a out a smartphone even sort of disappointed me. Then I found out it was made in 2022. Is it slow, predictable, clumsy even? Maybe.
