I saw what they were trying to do, but this movie turned out to be a hot mess. The only redeeming value was in Nicholas Galitzine, who was his usual charismatic self. And let's face it, I would happily watch him read the phone book. Actually, maybe the phone book would have been more interesting than this movie. To be honest, after a while I fast-forwarded through most of the scenes and only watched the ones he was in. The mice were pretty amusing, too. I suggest only watching this movie if you get it free through Amazon Prime. And even then, be prepared to self-rescue. You really don't want to lose 2 hours of your life this way.
