Netflix, stop censoring history

World War 2 From the Front Lines is visually stunning. The firsthand footage from all sides involved in WW2 offers vivid footage.

Greece did not surrender easily to Italy during World War II. In fact, during the Greco-Italian War that began in October 1940, the Greek forces successfully repelled the initial Italian invasion. The Greeks pushed the Italians back into Albania and gained a tactical advantage. This resistance surprised many, as Italy had a larger and better-equipped military. The Greek resistance delayed the Axis powers and forced Germany to intervene in the Balkans to support its Italian ally.

The editing choices compromised the integrity of the narrative, leaving viewers with an incomplete and distorted portrayal of World War II.

"Sail on, O Union, strong and great! Humanity with all its fears, With all the hopes of future years, Is hanging breathless on thy fate!" - Winston Churchill.
