I enjoyed every second of it. The story was good and the feelings of the characters were successfully conveyed to the viewers.
I don't know why but I loved Hawk, he was protective and convincing. Skippy was also admiring. He was so innocent and ready to do everything for his lover, Hawk.
Although I gave the highest rating to this show, a repetition of one incident was driving me crazy. Every time Hawk makes something good through the years and Skippy believes him, but end up regretting it or disappointed. Nevertheless, isn't this something happen to all of us?
