The thing that sets FBI apart from, say, SVU, is the different kinds of crimes that the NY field office agents can tackle. From child trafficking to bombings to ISIS and in "Crossfire" a sniper on a killing spree across New York City. Unlike SVU, where it's all crimes relating to sexual assault. The variety of cases is what's going to help FBI in the long run.
OA and Bell have to track down the shooter before he can kill again. Some very good acting from both Missy Peregrym and Zeeko Zaki. The final scenes are particularly well done and pack quite an emotional punch.
The agents - both clearly with personal issues that I'm sure we'll learn more about over the coming episodes - work well together. Zaki and Peregrym have good platonic chemistry: very good casting.
