This is another example of the particular, symmetrical and geometric genius of Wes Anderson. His style, already very marked in recent years, comes back to play in a story that unfolds on its own, incorporating elements of humor and drama in just the right amount. Production design is part of his signature, as is the acting style and overall feel of the play. This time, the director also has the luxury of playing with the shapes of the frames with which he shows his film.
The few negative points would be the monotony with which the performances tell the story and that its cast is so small that the few actors present manage to play several roles within the same short film.
