Jumanji bored me as a kid and it bores me as an adult. The screenplay was clearly written by committee, throwing in Jurassic-Park style CGI animal herds with Home Alone booby traps and even hints of PTSD for Robin Williams' character. Tonally incongruous, dark and stupid at the same time.
Oh, I have to say more stuff to meet the minimum character requirement. Okay, what else can I nitpick? The Nike product placement serves as a lame joke; they should have cut that in favor of a more believable innovation for the time period. There are monkeys in this movie, which is a bad idea because monkeys are obnoxious and should never be used as comic relief.
