So, carrying on in the family tradition/business of being a talentless hack... one of the daughters, it really doesn't matter which - she tells daddy that for her birthday this year she would like to make a film like he does.
She has no grasp of film making, but daddy has money and knows the right people. I don't know or care what studio this was through, it's Blumhouse tier, take that for what it's worth.
Ok dad, I really liked that "scary swimming pool" film, how about that but we set in in a forest and there's fairies or something?
...and daddy magically opened his wallet and fairies did appear, but being the tricksy-folk they are, they stole all the plot. Those naughty fairies...
I guess a small upside is that the lighting was ok, the sound design was alright and not detesting the cast was a pleasent surprise.
If it's free/streaming service you use it might kill a couple of otherwise empty hours, but there's no reason to pay money to see this.
