Mission: Impossible - Fallout is a 2018 American action spy film, written, co-produced, and directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
It is the sixth installment of the Mission: Impossible film series and stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris, who return to their previous roles, along with Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby and Angela Bassett, who join the franchise. Set two years after the events of Rogue Nation, Fallout follows Impossible Missions Force agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and his team in their efforts to prevent a nuclear attack by terrorist Solomon Lane and the mysterious extremist John Lark.
