- Kenneth Robertson was born in Kirkintilloch, Scotland and went to school in England. He was brought up on a Farm/Agricultural College in Buchinghamshire, where he kept his own horses and won many awards for Showjumping and Gymkanas. He left school after A levels and moved to London to join a touring theatre company that performed throughout Britain. He later trained as a teacher of Art and Drama but continued with being an actor and did an MA in Theatre Performance at Goldsmiths, London University.
As an actor he has worked in Children's theatre, The Young Vic. Community Theatre, Fringe Theatre, London's West End, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Cheek By Jowl as well as many TV series/plays and film. - Moira Anderson trained in singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and is, without doubt, Scotland's biggest ever female singing star of her genre. She appeared frequently at the London Palladium, in at least five Royal Command Performances, and in various other similar productions, such as "Night of One Hundred Stars" and "Christmas Night of One Hundred Stars."
Her initial media exposure led her to be widely regarded within her native Scotland as merely a "Scottish Singer" (i.e. a singer of Scots songs), and was the cause of her being grossly underrated on home soil.
She was one of the most sought after and highly paid stars of the world's leading cruise liners, especially the QE2, and her London cabarets are legendary within that sphere. During these she proved herself to be a sparkling wit, a gifted mimic and impressionist as well as an accomplished pianist.
She lives in virtual retirement on the Isle of Man, and only makes infrequent and special appearances, usually for television, radio or prestigious cabarets, most recently for special functions at the Palace of Westminster. - Actor
