Throughout his young life, it was evident that Jacob had a 'flair' for performance. His first love was music, as he was often picked to sing duets and solos in school plays. His love of acting began when he was enrolled in the Johnson Neilson Theatre Group. Whilst there, Jacob flourished and took his first 2 LAMDA exams. In 2013, Jacob had a chance to team his acting and singing abilities up on stage at the Capitol Theatre, when he performed as Kurt Von Trapp in the HAODS production of The Sound of Music. In 2014, upon first successfully passing the academic tests with flying colours, he was offered a drama scholarship at the prestigious Christ's Hospital School, in his home town of Horsham, West Sussex. After Christ's Hospital, Jacob continued his academics, successfully completing A-Levels, which led to a BA Joint Honors degree in American Studies with English. During his time at university, Jacob continued to put his acting skills to good use working at London's Escape Hunt, Oxford Street.
