- Lisa Eilbacher was born in Saudi Arabia, the daughter of an oil company executive. She spent her most formative years in Paris. After moving to Beverly Hills, California with her family, she soon appeared on television on episodes of Wagon Train (1957), Laredo (1965), My Three Sons (1960), and Gunsmoke (1955). Dina Shihabi is a Saudi Arabian actress working in the United States. Dina Shihabi was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was raised in Saudi Arabia, Beirut, and Dubai. She had started dance classes at age 6, and at 13 she began taking dance lessons from Sharmilla Kamte, a renowned dance teacher at the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre Chaloub Studio, known as the "dancing queen" of the United Arab Emirates. She became a member of her modern professional dance team.
In Dubai she attended Al Mawakeb School, Emirates International School, and Dubai American Academy. Shihabi performed in numerous school plays, and was encouraged by her teacher, Nancy Mock, to pursue an Acting career.

Named one of Canada's Rising Stars by The Hollywood Reporter in 2017, Hamza Haq stars as Bashir "Bash" Hamed in CTV medical drama TRANSPLANT for which he earned three consecutive Canadian Screen Awards wins for Best Lead Actor (2021-2023). The series, a 2021 Canadian Screen Award winner for Best Drama series, centers around an ER doctor who fled his native Syria to come to Canada where he must overcome numerous obstacles to resume a career in the high stakes world of emergency medicine.
On the big screen, he starred in Fawzia Mirza's QUEEN OF MY DREAMS opposite Amrit Kaur as well as in WITH LOVE AND A MAJOR ORGAN directed by Kim Albright, both films having had their premiere at SXSW. Haifaa Al Mansour is the first female filmmaker in Saudi Arabia and is regarded as one of the most significant cinematic figures in the Kingdom. She finished her bachelor's degree in Literature at the American University in Cairo and completed a Master's degree in Directing and Film Studies from the University of Sydney. The success of her three short films, as well as the international acclaim of her award-winning 2005 documentary Women Without Shadows, influenced a whole new wave of Saudi filmmakers and made the issue of opening cinemas in the Kingdom a front-page discussion. Ahd Hassan Kamel is an award winning actress and filmmaker from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is best-known for her role as Fatima in the 2018 BBC2 /Netflix series, Collateral. and her starring role in the 2014 BAFTA-nominated film, Wadjda.
Ahd grew up in Saudi Arabia and moved to New York City in 1998. She received a BFA in Animation & Communication from Parsons School of Design in 2014 and a Directing degree from the New York Film Academy in 2015. Ahd then went on to study Acting under the personal tutelage of William Esper at the William Esper Studio.
Ahd has written, directed and acted in her two award-winning short films, The Shoemaker 'Al-Qondorji' (2009) and Sanctity 'Hurma' (2012). Sarah Taibah is an artist and filmmaker, from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is the creator, writer and lead in the successful dark comedy series "Jameel Jiddan. She also wrote and acted in the anthology Pan-Arab series "Nemra Etnen" along with the biggest names in the SWANA region. Sarah co-wrote the film "Hwjn" that was based on the best selling novel HWJN, and the film opened Red Sea International Film Festival in its 3rd edition. She also starred in " Mandoob El Lail", which had its world premier at Toronto International Film Festival and Arab premiere in the Red Sea International Film Festival, end of 2023. She is currently working on her new comedy series with an international platform, as the creator, writer and star of the show.
Sarah also starred in "Rollem" the first Saudi film that got screened in Saudi theaters when it first opened in 2018. Sarah acted in several films; both features and shorts such as "VHS tape replaced" that went to 10 festivals in less than a year. Basil is a Saudi Arabian actor born in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He grew up living in Saudi Arabia and the United States of America. The Saudi actor got his first taste of acting at the age of 8 at Al Azizyah Schools theater in Al Khobar. Since then, he has fallen in love with performing in front of people. His potential was spotted in 2008 at an acting workshop and made his professional theatrical debut at the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Dammam, getting glowing reviews praising his acting and body language skills. Throughout middle and high school, he participated in numerous productions at school, community theatre, YouTube, Saudi Arabia's Association of Cultures and Arts, King Fahd Cultural Center, and King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture Ithra. He has precisely acted in several plays, films, and series. His love for acting has blossomed as he has found life in his art.
At the age of 18, he continued his higher education majoring in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and received his bachelor's degree from Widener University, Pennsylvania, USA. Upon his graduation in 2018, his lifelong passion and vision pulled him to move to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his acting career. He, at best, acted, produced, and directed multiple films and theatre productions. He subsequently appeared in notable roles on screen, playing the relentless broker Honrae in the TV series The Women on Wall Street; Pilot: Thick Grit (2020), the fisherman in the film They Know the Way (2020), and other independent films. Throughout the years living in Saudi and U.S., he took various courses, such as acting techniques, Improv, directing, script writing, body language, and stunts/stage combat. Under his belt, he has carried several techniques, such as Stanislavski's Method, The Meisner, The Chubbuck, The Adler, to name a few. Basil said at SSF24 that the 8th technique he's exploring is Practical Aesthetics, and elaborated that he's going to explore more techniques until his last breath, as he should. His drive, multicultural background, and fluent English/Arabic languages have been his companions on his journey. As a lifelong learner of his craft and a student of human nature, he continues to learn from everything he partakes in.
In 2022, Basil moved back to his home country and landed a starring role in the largest-ever budgeted Saudi production "Rise of the Witches" (2023) TV series. He plays prince of the blue jinn, Azraq/Blue. Presently, he is on the map and trail-blazing in the film industry.- Femina George was born on 26 October 1997 in Saudi Arabia. Ibrahim Nash'at is a multi-award-winning Egyptian documentary filmmaker based in Berlin, Germany. His career in journalism spans various formats, working with several international channels and online platforms such as Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera, Business Insider, AJ+, Voice of America and others. Ibrahim holds a master degree in documentary filmmaking from Met Film School.
