Frasier is nervous about what seems like a sure thing. The evening doesn't end up quite how he imagined, but forced to stay until the end, he ultimately makes the most of it.

The next morning, Jill tries to have a truce declared between her and her sisters, but when they try to work on the party, they cannot agree on anything and the bickering continues. Jill says she had enough of this and storms out of the house. Her sisters shocked that she is acting this way, then Tim says the same thing to them but in a more abrasive way. After being away from the house Jill learns that she needs to say how she feels and in the end, her parents' anniversary party plans fall into place.
