- Good girl Sandy Olsson and greaser Danny Zuko fell in love over the summer. When they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance?

- Professor Ludwig von Drake plays a variety of popular music, all of which he wrote. First, ragtime: the Rutabaga Rag, with vegetables dancing in stop-motion. Next, the Charleston, with cut-out animation of a singer and dancers. Dixieland and more cut-out animation; the crooner/love ballad; 50's doo-wop; and finally, rockabilly.
- Mabel, a college co-ed, wants to make her senior boyfriend--the strongest man on campus--jealous by two-timing him with Bob. Let the hazing begin.
- Pals Herman and Pat, with diamond rings in hand, are all set to make marriage proposals. Pat is bashful, however, so Herman broaches the subject to Pat's girl. The girl's parents think Herman is the suitor, and invite him to dinner. Meanwhile, Herman's own prospective in-laws are hosting a dinner, too, so Herman and Pat dash from one dining room to the other, trying to straighten things out.
- Paul Lynde plays an exasperated driver's license official. Peter Graves is a wig model. Lynde is joined by Kathleen Freeman as parents who have gone the hippie route.
