Lucky, working undercover, aids the Mounties in rounding up the gang and gains back his uniform, and also the love of Gabrielle Renaud (Adele Mara), Renaud's sister who was unaware of his criminal activities.
- Boyhood friends grow up into different professions, one a dedicated Royal Canadian Mountie, the other a notorious if well liked gambler.
- Counterfeit bills are being printed in Canada and shipped across the border hidden in blocks of ice. When the counterfeiters force engraver Bronson to make a new plate, he inscribes a tiny help message on it. Renfrew catches a henchman who has one of the new bills. A magnifying glass lets him read the message and he heads out alone to round up the counterfeiters.

- Sgt. Conniston and his alcoholic guide O'Toole are on the trail of an escaped murderer named Keith. When they catch up with him in the farthest reaches of Northern Canada, Keith turns out to be a dead ringer for Conniston. On the way back, the sled overturns, Keith grabs the gun and leaves them to die in the snow. After second thoughts he comes back and brings them to safety at an RCMP emergency cabin. Conniston dies of a frozen lung. O'Toole becomes convinced of Keith's innocence and refuses to take him in. Instead he helps Keith disguise himself as Conniston to escape. Before he can do so, he is spotted by Mounties looking for Conniston and brought back to Conniston's fort. During the time Conniston was gone, it was discovered that Keith was innocent of the charges. Still Keith can't reveal his true identity for fear the Mounties will think he killed Conniston. Keith plans to keep up the charade only long enough to escape but Miriam, who Conniston had unsuccessfully pursued, is intrigued by the 'changed' Conniston and falls for him and he for her.
- Convicted murderer John Keith (Dennis Morgan), escapes from his guards, and is pursued by Sergeant Conniston (Dennis Morgan), of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. After a two-year hunt, Conniston almost dies of the cold and is rescued by Keith. Before he dies, Keith convinces him he is innocent of the crime for which he has been convicted, and Conniston insists that Keith, who bears nearly an identical resemblance to the Mountie, put on his uniform and pretend he is Conniston and go to River's End and prove his innocence.
- US Deputy Marshal Dan Lawson teaming up with RCMP Sergeant Gray to go undercover and capture the nefarious smuggler Bart Randall. Lawson, posing as an outlaw called Laramie, is ready to infiltrate the gang led by Randall, a self-styled Gun Emperor of the Northwest, who is wanted for murder and bank robbery in the United States. In addition to the difficulties inherent in the mission, Lawson has other issues to deal with, including the use of a fake totem and flying a hydraplane to overawe the Native Americans and renegade whites. He also is aided in his search by Donna Blaine, who is suspected at first of giving information to Randall, but who in reality is a Canadian secret agent investigating Randall's illegal gun trading with the Indians.
- Canadian Mounties Corporal Rod Webb and Constable Mike Kelly, along with Rod's dog Chinook, are sent to the Blackfoot Crossing country to find the killer of trapper Antonie Dubois, and also to investigate reports of illegal deals in beaver pelts. Mike, a rookie, is delighted with the assignment as it takes him to his home country where he again sees Sandra Dubois, his childhood sweetheart. Posing as trappers, Rod and Mike meet Matt Oliver, introduced as a mining engineer, at Sandra's home, who is a little irked at the warm welcome Mike receives from Sandra. The undercover Mounties soon get on the trail of Morgan, Howell and Cheval, the illegal beaver trappers. While searching for evidence in the trading post ran by MacGregor, Mike is surprised by Morgan and Cheval and is killed. Rod closes the trail that reveals Oliver as the leader of the gang. Chinook takes care of Oliver, and Rod arrests Morgan and the others.
- In order to arouse the jealousy of Philip Steele, a wealthy young man who is infatuated with her, Isobel Becker introduces her father to him as her husband. Steele is bitterly disappointed and before Isobel can explain her little joke, he leaves and joins the Northwest Mounted Police, in which he soon distinguishes himself. He is assigned to bring in Bucky Nome, a notorious gambler and lecher who is wanted for murder. Colonel Becker, Isobel's wealthy father, is interested in the fur business and goes to Canada, taking her with him. Bucky wrecks the pleasure train on which they are riding and kidnaps Isobel. Steele eventually catches up with Bucky, bringing him to justice and rescuing Isobel. The subdued girl explains her joke, and Steele resigns from the force, again taking his place in polite society.
- Mine owner Jackson Decker orders his manager to obtain Tom Bailey's milling machinery no matter what the cost. When Bailey is found murdered, suspicion naturally falls upon the mine owner and his son, a Canadian Mountie, is ordered to find the real culprit. He joins forces with a French-Canadian constable, Bailey's beautiful daughter and a phony palm reader to learn the truth and discovers a secret gold mine, a double-crossing casino owner and a forger at the bottom of the conspiracy.
- When the plane owned by the "Yukon and Columbia Mail Service" crashes, RCMP Sergeant Renfrew (James Newill) and Constable Kelly (Dave O'Brien) suspect murder. Their suspicions are confirmed when Renfrew finds the control stick has been jammed, forcing the plane to fly in one direction until the gas ran out. Mine owner Louise Howard (Louise Stanley) reports that her superintendent is missing. The Mounties find him murdered and that too has been made to look like an accident. A new mail service pilot, Bill Shipley (Warren Hull), arrives. He had gone to training school with Renfrew but had been cashiered for misconduct. The Mounties discover that Raymond (Karl Hackett), who had been working for Louise, really owns the flying line managed by Yuke Cardoe (William Pawley.) They find proof that all the gold from the mine isn't being turned over to Louise, and suspect that Raymond and Yuke are stealing the gold and shipping it to Seattle by plane. Renfrew sets a trap and Yuke and Raymond try to escape in their plane.
- Betty Boop is a poor-but-honest-actress in the Gay 90s who, hungry and cold, gets a job as a singer in a dance-hall saloon. The villainous owner makes unwanted advances, annoys and slaps her around a little, until a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman shows up. The villain kidnaps Betty and flees with her in his dog-sled, drawn by a dachshund. The hero dons his skis and after a wild chase, Betty is rescued and the mustachioed villain is laid low, never again to molest innocent young ladies.
- Fort McKenzie prospector Pop Kellogg, just before the arrival of his newly-orphaned grandson Billy, is killed by McBeau and Dawson, who seek the map showing Pop's secret oil claim. Billy, the now newly-doubled-orphaned grandson, is being escorted to Fort McKenzie by Corporal Rod Webb of the Canadian Mounties and his Wonder Dog, Chinook. Webb turns Billy over to the keeping of Anne DuMere, who runs the trading post for Dan Morgan. After several attempts on his life, Rod and Ann manage to link Morgan and a mineralogist, Kincaid, to the LeBeau/Dawson gang, which is now minus Dawson who has been knocked over a cliff to his death by Chinook.
- Corporal Rod Webb (Kirby Grant)of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police follows a murder trail deep into the Klondike. He becomes involved with the niece,Marie Briand (Martha Hyer), of the murdered man, and with Nan Duval (Frances Charles), who is a partner in a no-limit gambling saloon. He also has problems with a gang of unscrupulous promoters who have gunmen under their hire.
