- A police comedy show about eccentric police officers. Veteran police detective Bob Ballard is reassigned to Pacific Station in Venice, California. The station is habitually used as an exile place for the police force's most eccentric or outright incompetent officers. They primarily have to deal with rather weird suspects from Venice Beach. Bob also has to deal with his new superior officer, the recently promoted Captain Ken Epstein. Ken is a rather immature young man who has been asked to lead officers than are older than himself.
- The police organization are forced into fiscal austerity due to the economy and they look for ways to reduce expenditures. A "special accounting department" is created that includes Police Officer Madoka Hajime (Kanna Hashimoto). She gets dispatched to a police station known for heavy expenses, but what awaits for her are a bunch of detectives who insist money is needed for their investigations. Tetsuro Yukawa (Ikki Sawamura) is a hot-headed detective at the station. He butts heads with the penny pinching Madoka Hajime and sometimes collaborates with her on cases.
- Two FBI agents arrive to the Dominican Republic to come after a drug lord called "El Duque". Local policeman Cabo Azulado and petty thief Joe help them with their investigation.
- Police officer Porky is called to investigate strange noises at a house that might be haunted. Before he arrives, we tour the house and hear some evil-sounding cackles, which, it turns out, are coming from a radio one that a ghost was listening to. The ghost then sings the title song while getting ready for a night of haunting, just as Porky arrives. The ghost invites him in with a woman's voice, then disappears. Porky comes in and gets spooked by some flapping curtains. When he comes back in, the ghost puts a couple frogs into a pair of shoes and sets them loose; they collect a hatrack and a curtain, forming a sort of black ghost that ultimately scares Porky upstairs right into the arms of the ghost. He beats a hasty retreat...
- Marcel Allain, author of the 'Fantomas' novels of the 1910s, insisted on the scariness of his unfathomable criminal. When in the 1960s Fantomas turned into a successful action comedy bad guy Allain was not amused and sued the producers.
