- Sylvester Cat is a guard at a Mexican experimental laboratory where mice are confined for research. The families of the captured mice place a call to Speedy Gonzales, the fastest mouse in Mexico, to help them rescue their compadres. Speedy comes and engages in the usual battle of wits and feet with Sylvester.
- Wile E. Coyote chases the Road Runner around an old jalopy that starts up and runs him over, with the Road Runner at the wheel. Wile E. plants a bomb in a fake egg shell for the Road Runner to sit on, but instead of exploding under the Road Runner, it hatches a robot that walks over to Wile E. and explodes.
- To finally defeat Popeye, Bluto sets out to destroy the spinach crop.
- Wile E. Coyote tries and fails to catch the Road Runner using a bear trap with a bird seed bait, a jet rocket, an ice-making machine, and a boomerang.

- Mickey rescues cantina singer Minnie from the unwanted advances of Pegleg Pete.
- Popeye is building a house while his nephews practice their music. The kids come out to help, but only cause trouble, so Popeye sends them back to practice. He finishes his house, goes in, and it collapses. The boys decide they can help Popeye and practice at the same time, so they build a skyscraper luxury apartment building to the tune of the ever-popular Poet and Peasant Overture.
- Ralph Wolf tries to forcibly remove Sam Sheepdog in order to gain access to a flock of sheep. Without success, he uses a lasso, cannon, a string of firecrackers, and a giant rubber band.
- Popeye and Olive are on a safari, he with a gun and she with a camera. She wanders off to stalk a monkey, and happens across Bluto as a Tarzan-like character. She's smitten, as is he, so he shows off a bit. Popeye finally catches on, and they start the usual round of fighting and one-upmanship. Bluto summons a wide array of animals, and while Popeye's occupied, hauls Olive high into a treehouse. With some help from the monkey, Popeye has his spinach and turns most of the animals into fur coats (on a rack the monkey pushes through the melee), then rescues Olive by hauling on the tree's roots until she's at ground level.
- Olive is preparing a birthday party for Popeye. He arrives too soon, and she assigns his nephews (only three in this picture) to keep him out until she's ready. They do this in their usual creative ways.
- Olive is playing nanny in the park as Popeye and Bluto bicycle past. They fight over her, waking the baby. Then they take turns trying to stop the baby crying or sabotaging the other's efforts. Popeye does impressions of a dog and an airplane and juggles cannonballs; Bluto does some rope twirling and a snake-charmer act.
- Mickey and Minnie are next-door neighbors tending their yards. When Minnie is captured by a bird's song, Mickey hides in his bird-house and pretends to be a bird himself, until a cat attacks and blows his cover. Then he does a dance while wearing the house; their song attracts more birds, and again the cat. Pluto chases, but he's still pulling the lawnmower, and it causes much destruction.
