- Zeinal Bandari (Jamshid Hashempur) is an opium dealer with a past criminal record. He is nabbed in a series of arrests on drug traffickers by Iranian DEA. He then In court is convicted of drug trafficking but by giving money to the corrupt judge gets lighter prison sentence and therefore after one year in prison and because of his so called "good behavior behind bars", gets a Parole and sets out free but soon he is caught again in another drug deal and once again Zeinal finds himself behind bars. This time he feels regret and realizes that his life is ruined so he accepts the offer of lieutenant Ahmad (Behzad Javanbakhsh), who is the head of Iranian DEA to become an undercover agent for DEA. With the help of Zeinal they decompose the local Opium network. But the triumph is no longer sweet for Zeinal after he finds out that during the time he was serving his time in prison, his only son became a Heroin addict. Lieutenant Ahmad and Zeinal help Zeinal's son together to quit his habit. After Zeinal's son recovers, the two decide to demolish the Heroin Network which they later found out is belong to a strong heroin cartel with ties to high position officials so they realize that they can not demolish the network with the help of government and DEA. So Zeinal and Lieutenant Ahmad set out to strike down the Heroin Network even though by sacrificing their own lives by assassinating the leaders of Heroin Cartel and so in the path they choose they both give their lives for the sake of their people.
- Dash Akol is greatly respected in Shiraz as an honorable man who has lost his family's money through helping his friends. He has an enemy, however, named Kaka Rostam, a mean and spiteful person. Dash Akol, who is in his forties, falls in love with Marjan, daughter of the late Haji Samad, for whose estate he is the executor. But he keeps his love secret. One day a suitor asks for Marjan's hand, and Dash Akol considers it against his code of honor to refuse. On the night of the wedding, Dash Akol hands over responsibility for the family to the bridegroom. As he is leaving the house, however, Kaka Rostam is waiting for him and a fight ensues. Kaka Rostam stabs him in the back, but Dash Akol succeeds in killing him. On his deathbed, Dash Akol sends his parrot to Marjan with the confession of love he has taught it.
- Shahr-e ghesse is perhaps the most popular of all Persian plays, was written in traditional rhythmic style that resulted in a kind of musical drama. Although it seems at first glance to have been written for children, its main audience, it is in fact a parable about contemporary socio political issues.
- Reza Motori, who has feigned madness, escapes from an asylum and robs a factory, with the aid of a friend. Afterwards, a young writer, who looks exactly like Reza, visits the asylum in order to write about inmates. There he is mistaken for Reza and detained. Meanwhile, Reza assumes the identity of the writer. Reza falls in love with the writer's fiancée and decides to give up the money he has stolen from the factory, but his friends prevent him from doing so. Ultimately, Reza is killed when he collides with a truck on his way to meet his beloved. Received the best actor and best music prizes at the Third Iranian National Film Festival "Sepas" in 1971.
- Hassan is a student of Religious /Islamic school and is about to be dressed as a missioner .In such a time when his other mates are excited and are getting ready to be formally dressed and to become a spiritual missioner Hassan's doubts and incoherences starts and he begins to have a struggle with himself. Therefore he postpones his ceremony, yet for the sake of his father and to respect him he buys the dress. Meanwhile a young boy steals his formal clothes. Hassan goes after the boy and through this path he gets to know about the poverty of the people and the poor neighborhood where the young boy lives. He communicates with this community and gets familiar with their life style. This event gives him a motivation to become a spiritual missioner because he realizes that in this way he can serve these people. At the end, the young boy ends up in a rehabilitation center for children and is going to start a new life.
- There is an old saying in Farsi, "if you catch a Toughi to keep, it will bring bad omens to the members of the family". ...And that's what happens to a very close nit family when Toghi is caught for keeps. A well respected uncle plans to marry a young woman who lives in a far away town. He asks his young nephew to bring the fiancée home to him. On the way back the young people fall in love, get married in secret, and return home with their secret. They're both afraid to tell the truth to the family. Eventually the uncle finds out, and to teach both his nephew and his fiancée a lesson he starts a bloody revenge.

Day Break - based on a compilation of true stories and shot inside Tehran's century-old prison - revolves around the imminent execution of Mansour, a man found guilty of murder. When the family of the victim repeatedly fails to show up on the appointed day, Mansour's execution is postponed again and again. Stuck inside the purgatory of his own mind, he waits as time passes on without him, caught between life and death, retribution and forgiveness.
- A woman trapped in an unhappy marriage: Sima, must contend with a husband so insensitive that he makes no effort to hide his various sexual indiscretions. He forces her into an even more uncomfortable situation when he asks his wife to pretend she is related to his current girlfriend in order to avoid trouble from a society that punishes unmarried couples for being together in public.
- A number of inmates from a reformatory school are scheduled for release. As a condition for their discharge, it is specified that the younger boys should live either with their families or in government supervision centers. On the appointed date, however, Mohsen Ghaderi's parents do not show up to take their son. Another boy, meanwhile, Sohrab, an orphan, is not accepted in the government supervision centers. The film depicts the real lives of these two young boys among other inmates of the reformatory school. The past, the present and whatever is destined to happen in the future are what this film is all about. The causes of crime, the roles the family and society play, and the efforts to re-educate juvenile delinquents at reformatory school are of particular interest in the film.

- a name, a face, a word or a woman that suddenly and repeatedly emerges in 17-year-old Aida's mind. She tries to get rid of it, but it pops up again and tortures her. The image is that of a dark and remote and possibly not so bad character; she is a stranger who polishes her finger nail and dyes her hair in a blond hue, and leave Aida no peace of mind. But the woman's end is quite real and for the first time Aida consciously experiences doubt. She realizes that beauty and pain are two inseparable ingredients and finally Aida begins to focus on a hope which she has witnessed for one moment in her parents faces. Then she feels in herself the hope for a future whose nature she does not realize. She experiences a profound moment of comprehension and that seems to be sufficient.
