Andy's fame took him to Hollywood, where he befriended rising stars like Natalie Wood and Marilyn Monroe. He made appearances on the most popular radio shows of the day, and his face appeared in newspapers all over the world. But Andy's business quickly fell under the scrutiny of the American government, with far reaching consequences for his fame and fortune.

His mother, Dolia Gonzalez, a well-respected resident of Freddy's hometown of Edinburg, Texas, received benefits from the Veterans Administration for nearly 30 years, until the VA decided it had made an mistake, and asked this impoverished, elderly woman to pay back these benefits. This documentary will examine the life and accomplishments of Freddy, as well as the political struggle that ensued over Dolia's crisis with the VA.
