- Eterna labs achieved their goal, the suspension of death and for those that could afford the drug immortality but not without a cost. Nicholas Landers and his partner, Dr. Becker, were the head scientists in charge of R&D. During the creation of their flagship drug, Eterna, their numerous failed formulas were met with unforeseen complications, such as altered DNA, hallucinations, aggression, uncontrollable strength, severe psychosis, and even something stranger, telepathic abilities., Nicholas Knew that if the results were exposed he would be ruined. He concluded that these side effects must be hidden at all costs. Setting fire to the lab - with everyone inside - Nicholas saw to it that his past mistakes would be burned to ash and never see the light of day. Unbeknownst to him, Dr. Becker and some fellow scientists took an unprecedented amount of the Eterna drug, allowing them to survive the fire, but mutating them in unpredictable ways. Dr. Becker survives the fire but not without burns and scars that leave him unrecognizable. With a mind for vengeance, and powers imbued by the side effects of Eterna, Becker bides his time and waits for a chance to strike out against the world. Two years later a new building has been erected near the condemned Eterna labs. The old Eterna stands grey and cold surrounded by chain link fencing and closed off from entry due to contamination. During this time Nicholas and his team have managed to correct the side effects prevalent in the original Eterna Drug. Research even suggests that it will boost the effects of the old Eterna formula, reversing the negative side effects but keeping the beneficial ones. Becker has been watching Nicholas through his telepathic abilities, waiting for the completion of this drug. His begins a twisted plan by manipulating Nicholas and a few of his team to enter the old lab and investigate a potential breach . Jack Lambert and Quinn Grey, security specialists working for the company are instructed by Nicholas to contain and control the breach which may ultimately expose his crimes. Jack and Quinn arrive find the lab is unsecured and the main entry open when suddenly they hear screams of terror. Nicholas and his assistants have been attacked by Dr Becker and a horde of mutated beings. Once inside, the lab is locked and no one will be able to escape. Dr Becker has them under his control and his plan of revenge begins. He exposes Nicholas and others to a dose of the original Eterna drug and it's not long till the side effects culminate in their worst nightmares coming alive, as they're picked off one by one.
