USSR, 1935. The flywheel of mass repression is slowly but surely gaining momentum in the country. Ksenia is summoned by summons to the NKVD investigator. She thinks that she, as the daughter of a former landowner, is waiting for arrest. Before that, her husband was repressed. However, this time it worked out - the investigator gets into the fate of Xenia and lets her go. The life of Ksenia, her two daughters and her father after that goes on as usual. But one day her father is arrested, and she herself is offered to become an informant.
