The project will delve into the mysterious links that bind dreams and memories, attempting to show their interdependent natures. Memories can influence dreams, and dreams can inform memories. This is the crux of the film. To embody this theme, the film will center around the experiences of a single character, Maya. It will dwell on how she uses dreams to find closure in the death of someone significant. The film will be very cinematic in its execution, utilizing the medium's full potential to create a visceral dream-space that can immerse the audience. Though it will conform to many of the established codes of narrative cinema, it will also defy these by being fairly nonlinear and open ended.
