Under the omniscient gaze of an iguana, a 10-year-old boy takes care of his mother, an opera singer going adrift. They are living temporarily in a storage unit converted into a makeshift apartment under a railway tunnel. With the sound of clangoring sheet metal, they will encounter strange characters who are looking for a Somewhere that no longer exists.
