Evil is not always ugly, nor does it always come to us in the form of a monster. It is often pretty, or makes us feel loved, or comforts us in some way. In fact, we often invite it in either consciously or while in a state of denial. Candy has suffered a lot of loss at a very young age, and because of it, she has made some very poor choices. Candy explores the ripple effect of abuse in the privacy of individual human experiences,through the medium of a non-traditional horror film with strong female leads.
