In 1968, university professor Husain and his wife Muna are arrested. The wife dies in prison due to severe torture. Dr. Husain is subjected to ill-treatment inside the prison, and after a while he is released and gets out from prison, but he refuses to return to his previous work or any other profession. He meets the dancer Ika, who takes him to a new and different direction in his life.
