Eight year old Selena is bored to death with her cousin Marina in the family summer house in Portugal. While their older cousin is sunbathing in the garden, they run away and steal a donkey from a barn to go swim near the dam. On the way to the dam, they stop in a graveyard, where they catch sight of an old woman dressed in black.
