The two Germans on patrol at the oasis, when seen moving towards the CPL, are carrying their rifles slung over their right shoulder, but when they are shown a moment later, the rifles are at 'shoulder arms', on their right shoulder.
Near the end of the film when Cottrell is visiting Spence in his Cairo hospital room, the back of Cottrell's chair is parallel with Spence's bed. When leaves the room, he turns the chair so that the back faces the right shoulder of Spence at an angle of about 45 degrees. When the foreign correspondent enters the hospital room in the next scene to interview Spence, the back of the chair is again parallel with the side of the bed.
When the survivors come across the vehicle tracks after the attack on the Italian armoured car, multiple shadows of the soldiers can be seen, indicating multiple light sources.
