- Follows the professional wrestling scene in Montreal and observes the before, during, and after portions of a major show and the spectators who are enthralled by it.
- A foray into the then contemporary world of professional wrestling in Montreal with no narration, only direct sound and silent film style inter-titles. Beginning at the Montreal Forum, where the biggest bouts are staged, a behind-the-scenes look is shown at the staging and choreography of the spectacular shows, and the preparation of the wrestling stars who perform them. During the show the filmmakers are just as interested in the spectators, who identify with the heroes of the ring, as the match itself. Their emotions mimic the drama unfolding on the stage, which they know is fake but allow themselves to be swept away with the showmanship regardless. The main event of fan-favorite wrestler Edouard Carpentier provides the climax. Also in the film are the after-show locker room reactions of the performers and the back-street wrestling parlors where the craft is learned and practiced.—pr1mal_1
- The world of professional wrestling in Montréal is presented. Students, who have proverbial day jobs in other professions, are shown at a wrestling school where they exercise and are taught how to do professional wrestling maneuvers. Their dreams are to make it to the big times which in Montréal means being invited to wrestle in professional matches at the Montréal Forum. One such card at the Forum is shown, where the audience members are from diverse background. They are excited enough by the preliminary matches, but the frenzy is ratcheted up with the two out of three falls main event, a tag team featuring world champion Edouard Carpentier. The interest in professional wrestling from this adoring crowd stems from basic human nature of watching proverbial good guys versus bad guys, the want to see the villains get their comeuppance.—Huggo
