In the scene with the exploding car, the fire apparently got so out of control that the real police and fire brigade were on their way. The film crew had to get the shot and leave in a hurry, as they had not obtained any permission from anyone to shoot the scene.
The address given on the business card for Roscoe's antique shop, The Glory Hole, is the actual location used in the film, 95 Lisson Grove.
The film features the actor Ivor Dean who appeared regularly in the original The Saint (1962) and Ian Ogilvy who appeared as the Saint in the reboot Return of the Saint (1978).
