This is my favorite of all the shorts of Gerrit van Dijk. I found it to be the most personal and impressive of all his works (considering that all his animations are impressive) The animation it's very good, it is probably the most incredible use of rotoscoping that I've ever saw (Along with "The Last Words of Dutch Schultz", which was an excellent short)
The written words cannot express the perfection and beauty of Gerrit van Dijk words. His work is something that must be seen, the most pure expression of the animated medium, which is able to do all what is impossible in live action films.
If you like experimental animation, then you can miss any of the shorts of Gerrit van Dijk. All of them are excellent, and I would give them eleven stars if I could.
