During the shooting of this film, one morning two girls were on the edge of the cry. A group of children actors have gathered to talk about what should turn out to be a bomb during production. "Ernst Johansen had held private castings at his own place. Here he had seduced the girls, and they were very shameful and deeply unhappy about it", recalls Janek Lesniak, who had the lead in the film as the warrior Nelo. Several young girls told same-story stories about how they ended in bed with 36-year-old Ernst Johansen. The director admitted he had full sexual intercourse with Susanne Storm, Stine Olsen and another girl, and only petting with Janni Olsson (an extra). Søren Hindborg, who plays the brave Alfo in the film, remembers the shock that occurred with the girls. "He had enticed them with the notion that they could be in several movies. The biggest shock was not that they had been in bed with an elderly gentleman, but that they had been cheated. When the girls were taken in the ass in that way, I can well understand that they started talking about rape. However, I do not have the experience that someone was forced into anything. They were lured by a smart director and thought it was perfectly okay to go to bed with the director - that it was a way to become an actor," he says.
Young actress Anne Jørgensen killed herself on 1/12/1979 by jumping out in front of the S-train at Birkerød station. She left a diary in which she described that she had been pressured into sex with director Ernst Johansen during the filming of this movie.
