- The poet Prasad lives far from the city in a forest, enjoying only the company of his wife Pratibha. The court poet, Kaveeshwar, of a neighboring kingdom discovers Prasad's poetry and, more importantly, his beautiful wife, and invites them to his palace, promising fame and glory. Against Pratibha's advice, Prasad succumbs to temptation, only to see his work plagiarized and his wife harassed.—Sujit R. Varma
- A poet, Prasad, who lives a poor lifestyle in an Ashram near Gowvada, along with his wife, Pratibha, and son, Anil, gets an unexpected visit from the Raj Kavi of Subhash Nagar. The Raj Kavi is so enthralled by Prasad's poem 'Nitrayagna' that he decides to invite him to Maharaj Subhash's palace. A few days later, a chariot arrives and the trio are transported to the palace, where they are royally received by Raj Kavi. They are provided living quarters as well as fancy clothes and jewelry. told to stay in the city for a few days so that they could participate in Yuvrajni's 18th birthday celebrations, to which they agree. The trio will soon find that Raj Kavi has no intention of honoring them before Maharaj Subhash, and they will soon be entrapped in a deceitful plan, and may end up spending their respective lives in different dungeons.—rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)
